 Last Month Tips and Strategies for Board Exams Class 10th.

                            In this article, Education_Nomad would provide you with the strategies that you can follow in the last 4 weeks to maximize your marks in the class 10th Board Examinations. The strategies are divided into three categories according to the level of preparation of students to personalize their preparation. Category A is for students who have completed all of their syllabi and have secured more than 85% marks in their Pre-Boards. Category B is for students who have completed the syllabus partially and have secured 70% - 85% marks in their Pre-Board Examinations. Category C is for students who have covered less than half of their syllabus and have secured less than 70% marks in their Pre-Board Examinations.

Tips For:- 

Category A

  1. Practice all the Previous Year Questions thoroughly and solve at least 3 sample papers in full three-hour seating in a week.
  2. Try to figure out your weaknesses by analyzing the answer sheet of your Pre-Board examinations. 
  3. Work on those weaknesses and try your best to avoid those mistakes in your Boards.
  4. Go through the Blueprint provided by your exam board to get an overall idea of the paper. 
  5. Don’t be overconfident if you have done well in your pre-boards and don’t lose hope if you haven’t.

Category B

  1. Study from Short Notes of the chapter and try to remember all the important points and concepts.
  2. Make a chart of important formulas and revise it multiple times.
  3. Previous Year Questions play a more important role for you. So make sure to study them in detail. And study the blueprint carefully to get an idea of the exam pattern.
  4. Make sure to obtain a list of important questions from your subject teacher.
  5. Practice at least 2 sample papers per week in full seating.

Category C

  1. Try to get a rough idea of chapters by watching lesson videos in 1.25x or 1.5x speed on YouTube.
  2. Give maximum amount of time to previous year's questions.
  3. Make formula charts and revise them regularly.
  4. If possible take help from your friends but do not disturb them frequently.
  5. And most importantly “Attend all the Support Classes” organized by your school. They are of utmost importance. Do not bunk those classes.



Important Tips For All

 

 1) Try to avoid all the distractions which stop you from studying consistently. Limit your use of Social Media, YouTube, Avoid talking to friends unnecessarily.

2) Be consistent and cool during this one month. A board exam is an exam that tests your temperament and attitude. So make sure that your brain is calm during the last period of the preparation.

3) Take care of your health. Bad health during exam season can adversely affect your marks. Make a proper timetable which suits your exam timings. Make sure to adjust the biological clock of your body according to that. i.e. Your Wake Uptime, Sleep time, etc.

4) Don’t be overconfident by good scores in pre-boards and don’t lose hope if your scores are not good.

5) Be in touch with your teacher. They will surely help you in any dilemma. Make sure to clear your doubts by asking them.

6) Avoid demotivating friends and relatives, focus on your exams, and shut their mouths up by your results.

7) Don’t start experimenting with different things during this one month. This will divert your focus and affect your performance.

8) Work on exam presentation and improve your handwriting. This will make a good impression of you in the mind of the examiner.

9) Focus on the subjects which you find difficult. Try to study them in the morning as at that time our mind has the highest amount of learning capacity.

10) Do not underestimate the language subjects. They require as much attention as other subjects and they also contribute equally to your Examination Marks.
